Additionally, Grandmother features an easy-to-use Arpeggiator and Sequencer, providing added enjoyment and programmable syncopation. While not required, creative patching and exploration are the keys to discovering exciting new relationships between modules and truly unlocking Grandmother's infinite expanse of auditory inspiration. Patching can also be used to override internal connections, allowing each section to function as an independent module.

Grandmother is not only a standalone instrument but also an ideal analog audio processor for external sound sources and a powerful keyboard front end for expanding a Mother-32, DFAM, or Eurorack modular system. With 32 velocity-sensing, full-size keys, Grandmother offers a monophonic, semi-modular analog keyboard synthesizer experience. Its 256-note Sequencer allows for the recording and playback of sequences with up to 256 notes each, and the built-in analog Spring Reverb can be used to add lush, expansive ambience to any sound, as well as to process external sounds.

Grandmother's 41 Modular Patch Points invite users to explore a vast array of sonic possibilities through analog interconnectivity. The instrument is compatible with classic Moog Modular Synthesizers, making it a powerful addition to a Mother-32, DFAM, or any Eurorack modular system. Connectivity is covered, with a 1/4" Audio In for guitars, drum machines, and more, a 1/4" TRS Audio Out for headphones or line level, and 5-pin DIN In/Out/Thru, as well as MIDI over USB.
